This is simply not possible without using save-states on an emulator because all the homing missiles that get launched at you cannot be blown up and can barely be avoided unless you guide them into a cave wall. And after all this exploring you come back to the start point and enter the enclosure only to get "GAME OVER". Brilliant.

However, it has some nice remixes of "What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor" and the Blue Peter theme, for anyone who remembers that on BBC TV back in the day.

Original cassette instructions:
"Deep beneath the surface of the ocean, order is maintained by the dedicated submarine pilots of the Aquanaut patrol. In their sleek, deadly craft, armed with torpedoes and depth charges they were invincible - until they met the challenge of the Caves of Shallic. Here were gathered the forces of a malevolent power, bent on conquest of the seas. Heat-seeking missiles, sea-tanks, hovering mine-layers, and worst of all, the lethal hunting mines. These could not be destroyed except by causing them to collide with solid rock. However, their range was limited, and they could be outrun by skilled pilots. These weapons had destroyed all but one of the Aquanauts. Could he penetrate to the deepest cavern, and survive to return to his base?"
