6Cabela’s Trophy Bucks gets even more arcade, but feels unfinished. You get put on a map and then roam around and complete challenges. The spaces are so small that it’s inevitable not to stumple on some invisible barrier every two minutes. . It’s more of a shooting gallery with a bit of room to wiggle, than a free roam game. And it’s unpolished in my opinion. The controls feel kinda awkward, the objectives aren’t as fun. And even if you get hunter vision. X-ray vision and laser bullets, because the AI is so braindead, the game loses it’s charm. If you shoot an animal, there’s a change animals nearby don’t even move when they hear the bullet and their fellow animal carcass lies in the grass. They’ll just mind their business as if nothing happened. And this can turn down the experience. And some power ups are so OP they break the game. So while the game is still okay, it has so many shortcomings it’s hard to recommend.
