Description
Foster Island is being targeted by the Hoollabanger Corporation to be the site of a banana plantation. The legendary buccaneer Cactus Bruce and his One-Ton Claw Machine must stop the invasion corporation monkeys and save the island.

Cactus Bruce and the Corporate Monkeys is an arcade game that combines the brick-breaking action of Arkanoid and similar titles with a claw crane machine. The objective of every level is to break all the bricks on the screen within a time limit, by grabbing monkeys and other objects with the 180º rotating claw and throwing them towards the bricks. Monkeys keep appearing on certain bricks, throwing things at Bruce. The hero is sitting below the machine on a small island at the bottom of the screen, and the player has to protect him from harm with the mouse-controlled claw.

Bruce's friends and some objects act as power-ups, he can grab and throw them towards the bricks and the monkeys. The blowfish swims around Bruce and the machine, and can be grabbed when it jumps out of the water. When throw, it gets several times larger, destroying everything in its path. The flower pots kill the monkeys, but can't break bricks. The snowman explodes on contact like a cluster bomb, throwing snowflakes around that destroy surrounding bricks and kill monkeys. The bird flies around the gamefield, and when grabbed and thrown it bounces off the monkeys, hitting several of them in sequence. A blue creature moves around the screen, and when grabbed it adds some time to the clock, and slows down the incoming coconuts and wrenches. The cube gives a random object.

Some monkeys throw wrenches that paralyze the claw for a few seconds. When time runs out, a laser beam starts to descend from the top of the screen, killing monkeys and eventually Bruce if the player can't break the remaining bricks review mobygames
