Calculating Natal Fixed Star Precession | Advanced Galactic Astrology
Note: Most all precession/procession degrees are based around the year 2000.
CALCULATING THE PRECESSION FOR YOUR BIRTH YEAR BEFORE THE YEAR 2000
To calculate the degree of a fixed star for your year of birth, take the year 2000 and subtract the year you were born. Take the answer and multiply it by 0.838. Take your final answer and subtract it from the original degree from the year 2000.
Using my birth year as an example:
2000 - 1986 = 14
14 × 0.838 = 12
(Round up or down to closest whole number)
AFTER THE YEAR 2000
If your desired year is after the year 2000, go through the same process as above, but instead of subtracting the final answer, add it onto the initial degree.
