Oh me, oh my, Call of Duty 2 is approaching the tenth anniversary of it's release! Released for PC on October 25, 2005, and for the Xbox 360 on November 22 of the same year, Call of Duty 2 was the first game in the core series (as opposed to CoD Finest Hour) to kick off in the console market. It was also the first CoD game to release concurrently (sort of) on the PC and a console, becoming the first hit title in the 360 library and solidifying itself as a console staple for the future. Also of note was it's 60 FPS performance on the 360, which became standard for all 360 and PS3 Call of Duty releases. The multiplayer is rather skim by today's standards, but for the time it was completely standard in terms of what it offered. What it provided was and to this day is still incredibly fun and engaging with a still active community of players and modders.

This is of course, the PC version, running at 1920 x 1080 resolution on a 1600 x 900 monitor thanks to AMD Virtual Super Resolution. Open Broadcasting Software (OBS) was used to record gameplay at 1080p & 60 FPS, with Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 used to edit and produce the video you are viewing here.
