Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (Wii) Single Player Gameplay -No Commentary-
2The only version of MW3 I own is the Wii version, because I found it at a thrift store for cheap. I can imagine being a grade school kid in the 7th gen who only owned a Wii, while your buddies owned an Xbox 360, and played Modern Warfare 3 on Live, while you were stuck with the "we have Call of Duty at Home" Wii version. To Activision's credit, they actually did put some effort into the Wii Call of Duty games, giving them full online support.
Visually, the game doesn't look very good, even by Wii standards. Dare I say that even Black on the PS2 has better visuals than MW3 n the Wii does. The Wii was quite a bit more capable than what this game shows it to be. The gameplay is fine though. I've never played through MW3 in any version, so I don't know how faithful the Wii port is. I am playing with the Classic Controller Pro, because it's been so long since I played an FPS with the Wiimote that when trying it here, I did terrible.
From what I have played of the game so far, rough visuals, and some strange controls with the classic controller Pro aside, with online play, this was a pretty good port I would say. Like I said, some effort was put into the game just by adding the online play alone. Activision was trying to get in on the Wii cash cow by porting their most popular, and most lucrative franchise to it. Strange port, but it's plays decent enough.
