This game is developed by Infinity Ward and it’s published by Activision. It is a direct sequel to the 2019 reboot of CoD MW. This game has some improvements such as new water physics and new swimming mechanics as well as a new vehicle driving overhaul. There are also gameplay changes such as dive to prone and ledge hanging as well as the removal of slide cancelling. Infinity Ward have changed the gunsmith system to allow for fine tuning gun attachments to suit the players play style. It also offers weapon platforms that branch progression to prevent repetitiveness as well as featuring a firing range for practice. \n\nModern Warfare II is not a direct continuation or Modern Warfare. The campaign is set in late 2022. The main protagonist are Task Force 141, a joint multi-national special ops unit formed by SAS Captain John Price. It comprises of Sergeant Kyle Garrick (Gas), Lieutenant Simon Riley (Ghost) and Sergeant John MacTavish (Soap). Task Force 141 will receive support from a few allies such as the Russian PMC leader (Nikolai), CIA Station Chief (Kate Laswell), Urzikstan Liberation Force Commander (Farah Karim), Mexican Special Forces Colonel (Alejandro Vargas), MSF Sergeant Major (Rodolfo Parra), Shadow Company PMC Commander (Phillips Graves) and United States Army General Shepherd (Glenn Morshower). The main antagonist of this story is Major Hassan Zyani, they are an Iranian Quds Force officer who has allied with the Urzik terrorist organisation, Al-Qatala, they are supported by the Las Almas Cartel. The cartel is controlled by Valeria Garza, who hides her identity by using an alias (El Sin Nombre) which simply translates to “The Nameless”. \n\nThis game takes place in both fictional and real locations. It includes locations such as Amsterdam, Chicago, Urzikistan and the new United Republic of Asal, the capital of which serves as a major locale within the campaign as well as the new map for Warzone 2.0. The plot of this game is partly based on real life events such as the assassination of Qasem Soleimani.
