Three months after the end of the war, Price and Yuri attack a hotel in the UAE to kill Makarov. After Price and Yuri arrive at Makarov's place, they are attacked by one of Makarov's helicopters, but Price escapes and discovers that Yuri is injured and that a bar has been inserted into his abdomen. Price approaches Makarov helicopter and kills helicopter pilots. Price tries to steer the helicopter but the helicopter crashes. Injured Price and Makarov try to reach the gun that is between them. Price grabs the gun, but Macarov stops him and grabs the gun himself. At the last moment, the injured Yuri shoots Macarov, but Macarov kills Yuri with his reaction.Price uses this position to tie a rope around Makarov's neck and hang from the ceiling with him and hang Makarov. Price celebrates his victory by lighting a cigarette and watching Macarov's body hang.
