Call of Duty: World at War - Mission 14 "Heart of the Reich" - Hardened difficulty - Reichstag
Video walkthrough for Mission 14 "Heart of the Reich" from Call of Duty: World at War (2008).
In May 1945, Private Petrenko and Sergeant Reznov manage to escape from the flooded u-bahn station. They link up with remnants of the 3rd Shock Army and launch a massive assault on the Nazi Reichstag. Petrenko must destroy several Flak 88s and clear out the Reichstag courtyard so that the Red Army can storm the last Nazi stronghold.
The Reichstag is a historic legislative government building in Berlin. The Neo-Renaissance building was built between 1884 and 1894 and housed both the Reichstag legislature of the German Empire and the Reichstag of the Weimar Republic. The building was initially used by the Reichstag for Nazi Germany, but severe damage in the Reichstag fire of 1933 prevented further use. The 1933 fire became a pivotal event in the entrenchment of the Nazi regime. During the Battle of Berlin in May 1945, it became one of the central targets for the Red Army to capture, due to its perceived symbolic significance.
Gameplay set to Hardened difficulty mode. Footage captured on Xbox 360.
