Call of the Sea - Part 1 - What a beautiful island!
1Hello everyone and welcome to a new series of Call of the sea. This is a puzzle adventure game filled with mystery.
From the very beginning we see how much mysteries is going to be in this game as we head something calling out to our character. Our character wakes up underwater and is able to swim freely. The place around us is familiar but were could we be. Our character wakes up on a boat. We learn that our characters name is Norah she has an illness and her partner has travel to try and find a cure that the doctors could not. We can see she has some strange markings on her hands. Even in this first room we are presented with puzzles, this will set the scene for the game. Our character has a journal were they write down anything important that we find or see in the world. After finding the combination in our journal we make our way to the deck as we have arrived at a strange island.
We enter a row boat and start making our way to shore to try and find harry. This island look beautiful from the outside, but what can it hold deep within? From the moment we arrive we can find all kinds of clues hidden around the area. Everything that we need will be written down for us to look back on if needed. Before we can go deeper into the island we first need to find a way to open the gate. Inside a box near by we find a clue leading us to the switch that has been hidden in the ground. We find in and manage to make our way to the next area. We find some pictures of Harry so we know he had defiantly been on this island, we just have to find him.
In the next area we need to find a way to lower the bridge to allow us to cross. Next to the bridge there is a machine filled with symbols. We have a look around and find some of these symbols carved on to wooden planks. We are able to work our what each of these symbols mean. This means we can place them in the correct order to lower the bridge. For example the fish symbol would go below the water symbol.
