I made a manual save and reloaded it several times to get my next task from Major Kutzsenov. I did not want to go to Hermann, Beard or Owl next, after spending way too much time up north. Getting Petrenko or Barkeep was okay as a choice but when I got Sakharov, I took it considering I needed to return some documents to him that I had been waiting for so long. Also getting the message that the Mercenaries and Loners had a truce again, and having never visited Dead City yet, I thought the shortcut through Yantar was perfect for where I wanted to go to next.
