While in Rostok, contemplating my leaving for the Cordon, I notice on my PDA Map that the NPC that I need to get my reward for the Pseudogiant foot, was moving my direction. They were exiting the Army Warehouses going south but I knew they would not appear going to Rostok like I do. They would appear in Rostok on the road much farther north that I could not reach. That was an area where I had seen men and mutants travel, but for them it was a path to the Wild Territory. That is where I expected for them to be if I expected a rendezvous.

I took my Companions to the Wild Territory and upon arrival, left them at the entrance while I ventured ahead, keeping in mind I was bringing the lone Freedom who gave me the hostage rescue task, and I needed to be wary of his enemies that might be my allies. I found the passage deserted and beyond it I saw no one about the railway tower, that I climbed to look around. On my PDA Map the NPC was getting closer, still in the area to the north of me. There were some mutants in the direction where I expected them to appear.

Then I heard gunfire and to the south, inside the radioactive building, a Freedom soldier was fighting unknown mutants. I jumped down, somewhat foolishly in not knowing the type of mutant but I felt inaction or delay, the Freedomer may perish. This turned out to be the worst thrashing by Bloodsuckers I had ever experienced in this Game. After it was over, for unknown reasons, my expected reward was not to be. The NPC I needed to meet changed direction and went back to the Army Warehouses. This was a wrong way excursion.
