I had returned to Dead City to get my reward for the subcontractor job in Limansk. Being able to eliminate my target from such a far distance was a rare occurrence and opportunity. Upon arrival I had found my missing Companion, dead on the steps of the Merc Base, still with all his loot still on him. No idea how he died, other than those three most recently hired Bandits may have been left on other than passive, and he died by accident by friendly fire when the snorks jumped out when departing.

Back in Dead City I found a few Monolith to dispatch before returning to the Merc Base. I still had Dushman's job to find some documents in the Army Warehouses, and then the other Contract Killer job of a Clear Sky member, who was last seen in Zaton at the Iron Forest. Except now when I checked my PDA, he was on the move and had somehow slipped past me and was now in the Army Warehouses too. There was no time to waste. I had to go after him before he got farther away. Without hesitation I left Dead City and soon arrived in the Army Warehouses with my 22 Companions, and we would soon find ourselves surrounded by enemies in the Bloodsucker Village. Was this a trap?
