A Bandit squad was at the Abandoned School and even though I rarely take Bounty Hunter jobs, this time it was from another Bandit, but best of all I could hire him. This meant if I killed the Clear Sky member that the bounty is for, I don't have to turn around and chase him down on the other side of the Zone to get my reward. Instead he was now my Companion, along with his two other men. That's a total of 23, which is really too much but I couldn't resist the advantage of keeping him alive with me.

When we were returning walking alongside the plaza, I saw a Mercenary and to my joy realized the Base was no longer empty. A Mercenary squad had arrived and I got a job to take over a contact killer job against a Monolith. That's now two quick jobs I took, giving more than ample reason to depart Dead City. Now I just have to decide am I going east and then south? Or do I go north and try to complete those tasks that would make me go north? That is what I have to decide in the next video.
