Once we arrived at the Cordon Military Outpost, I took my men to the largest room in the barracks, and I showed them the television. I told them, this was the only place in the Zone you could still pick up TV signals from the outside. They can relax in the barracks, under the watchful eye of the Military, while I went out alone into the Cordon, with many stashes to loot, places to see and allies to help. The Cordon was also a major location for the Loners, even though they had the strange arrangement of the Trader and Repair Tech being in different but nearby locations. It takes a Trader and a Repair Tech at one location to be considered a Base for a Faction. Otherwise, it's just called a Camp, Post, Encampment and Outpost, all being smaller than a Base. This was a nice small garrison, right at the entrance to the Zone and as safe as it gets.
