84How to make a simple but adjustable Phone | Camera stand (Tripod). Easy build vertical adjustment with 360 rotation & 360 tilt. Great for Vlogging, YouTubers, etc. I build this DIY tripod / stand in around an hour at home and it supports my iPhone perfectly. It’s a terrific camera stabilizer, giving me safe control for filming and photography. It’s made from scraps of timber, a few nuts & bolts and requires just basic DIY ability that just about anyone can do. When painted it looks professional and does a great job. I actually prefer it to a standard tripod which take up a lot of floor space for stability – making getting close to the subject tricky. Whilst more of a monopod, this stand needs very little floor area and slides neatly up to my workbench.
I actually built a second one - so I have one around 6 ft and a table-top version of 2 ft. Both are stable and maintenance free.
