Who knew this was a thing? One night my teammates and I were checking for ghost in Brownstone High School. As I'm walking down the hall, I notice a light that comes on and then back off at the end of the hall. So thinking it was the ghost, I investigated. Well... it's not the ghost. It's the camera. So these static cameras in larger locations (smaller too but just outside on those), light up to let you know someone in the van is watching you.... creepily watching you... from the van. Weirdos. But that's also a decent amount of light provided by the camera.
