Again I hate EX moves, or what is the idea of what is EX moves so once again here is I think would be a fun way to give these characters unique ex moves that are not just generic ex moves that feel homogenized as every character should feel special an these also appreciate the lore of the character and go along with their tool kit.
So cammy again, you can give her her maximum spider, cannon bill assaut(?)or whatever its called as a EX move. The gimmick being although she cant normally jump off the wall, lets say if you have a ex bar you can press 3k or whatever it might be when you are at a wall whether it be if youre jumping, or even if say you do something like her cannon spike and she pops off you, if she pops off you can and can touch the wall she can do it. So this means she can make her DP completely safe in the corner which already kinda if you think about it goes with the idea that her DP is harder to punish than a traditional one anyway since she pops off, also of course it could even be for combos.. It could be for something like if she does her hooligan in the corner and her sprite touches the wall she can think do a cross up. So again a example of appreciating the lore of the character, while giving her a interesting ex move that no one else can have anything like that. It can be used to make her safer than usual, it can be used for combos, it can be used for mix ups even but again all in a way that only cammy can use.
Just like rolento, a character that is always back and forth all over the place we can give him a ex move that incorporates his entire tool kit while also giving a throw back to the original final fight game. Although of course we dont want him to be totally invincible so give the move a few frame start up before he starts fidgeting back or forth, once he starts lets say his feet can be hit. But he can still pass through you back and forth. But to get out of it if you dont want that recovery you have to use one of his moves at his disposal. All which gain a bit of a buff compared to their normal version. The qcb+hk one especially so as it allows you to do his final fight move where he jumps off the wall and throws bombs.. Which again dont need to combo, but allow him to reset the flow of the match lets say since you have to respect the bombs.
The caveat being the one thing you can combo into this from assuming you had enough time would be, and again a throw back to the original final fight, he can suicide himself. And that would be rolentos wake up move. This should of course be easy enough to program, just say while he is about to kill himself his sprite is invincible for one more frame after the initial explosion and then after that he can be hit too. However another gimmick would be that, this ex move again you can cancel out of any special move with it, so you can shadow out of it so then do the jump out of it to avoid the bomb yourself and this would be a rare example of when you actually would have time then to blow up the whole stage for some once in a blue moon combo lets say.
