In this year, we're going to be seeing some exciting racing games, such as Gran Turismo Sport, Forza Motorsport 7, DiRT 4, Project CARS 2, and even more!

However, one mentality I've seen in the Sim Racing community is the mindset of these being automatically discredited due to them being "Simcade", or a mix between arcade and Sim.

I wanted to share a few of my thoughts on this, and dive into what separates the "Sim" from the "Game", and try to clear up that awkward space in between.
