Can a Real 737 Captain fly the Tupolev TU-154 to Duxford in X-Plane 11?!?
Join me in the flight deck LIVE as we take on quite an interesting challenge! Today we are going to “deliver” the Felis TU-154, a study level simulation and detailed representation of its real-world counterpart, from Sofia (LBSF) in Bulgaria to the Duxford Imperial War Museum (EGSU) in the United Kingdom!
Duxford Aerodrome is home to the United Kingdom’s largest Aviation Museum and is home to many iconic aircraft such as the SR71 Blackbird and Concorde and we will be adding to their collection! Regardless of how we land, Duxford has an incredibly short runway so once we are down we’re here to stay!
Flying this aircraft is extremely challenging and although the principles are the same it’s very different to what I’m used to so please bear with me as I try my upmost to move this Russian relic across the length of Europe!
Do not forget as it’s Sunday we’ll be doing our weekly quiz, a giveaway where a lucky winner will grab themselves a copy of the Felis Tupolev 154 and of course (incredibly) I will commit to the butter or go-around challenge!
We'll be flying live time and weather! With the sun forecast to set just after our arrival we'll be against the clock, the runway in Duxford has no approach lights!
Добро пожаловать на борт!

THIS STREAM IS NOT TO BE USED FOR REAL WORLD FLIGHT TRAINING
The primary purpose of this stream is to give you the opportunity to see how I operate the aircraft in real time using real world operating procedures.
Time permitting, I will try and answer some questions you might have about commercial aviation and operating the 737-800 in general.
Whilst every effort is made to accurately replicate the way the aircraft is flown based on my experience as an Airline Captain and Type Rating Instructor, this is purely for entertainment only.
If you happen to be a line pilot or training pilot you must not follow the guidance in this livestream, it is purely for non-professional computer simulated flight. Only consult your approved material from your respective operator.
Personal questions and queries regarding my employment status will not be answered.
