Can a pre-Marian Roman army get across a bridge that is guarded by 500 Spartan Hoplites? The Romans have 2 units of siege equipment which do not include onagers. However, the Romans have managed to get a sizable flanking force across the river through shallows.

Spartans: 3 x unit of Spartan Hoplites with +2 upgraded armor and weapons, and with +3 experience (9630 denarii)
Rome: 1 x General's Bodyguard, 2 x ballista, 2 x Roman Archers, 2 x Velites, 1 x Equites, 1 x Wardogs, 3 x Triarii, 3 x Principes, 5 x Hastati (8510 denarii)
