Can Halo Infinite and Fable Save Xbox? & Post Malone Streaming Warzone on Twitch | The Breakdown
Halo Infinite and Fable were previewed during the Xbox event, but did they REALLY make you want to buy a new Xbox? Plus, Post Malone will be streaming Call of Duty Warzone and you can talk to him while he is streaming, and the Overwatch community is up in arms (again) over the latest Genji and Moira patches.
Xbox Game Showcase Proves Microsoft Are Done With Console Wars
Microsoft's strategy for the next generation is risky as hell, but could pay off. It seems very much so like they are steering into their current audience and just delivering what they think is going to be a winner for them. The obvious stand outs from the presentation are Halo:Infinite, Fable, and Forza; games that most Xbox fans are obviously well aware of. Does this mean that Xbox is wanting to cater to casual fans and have plenty of entry level offerings for a first time gamer? You have to admit, the Xbox presentation didn’t hold a candle to Sony’s offerings earlier this season. They are just in totally different weight classes at this moment. But come on, an open world Halo that has a grappling hook in it? That’s gotta be a signal that Microsoft are telling themselves that they just can’t win by out “gaming” Sony here.
Post Malone to Stream Warzone Tonight On Twitch
My boy Postie is back, and he will be taking over Twitch tonight in conjunction with HyperX to stream Call of Duty: Warzone, and you can catch his HXCKED stream fairly easily. The entire HXCKED series is meant to be able to bring Twitch viewers closer to being able to hang out with the largest stars in the world, and this is the first one to be launched by HyperX.
Remember, Post Malone is no stranger to gaming, as he has streamed plenty of PubG before, and has given interviews in the past saying he loves a good battle royale, and is even a huge fan of Shroud! Me too Post, me too.
Overwatch community outraged over Moira’s “overpowered” Fade rework
Overwatch players are livid after the game introduced a new batch of Experimental Changes to Moira in a July 23 patch, with some claiming Fade has become the most broken ability in the game.
Now, I am not the resident CheckpointXP expert on Overwatch, that’s Robbie Landis and Jake Lyon on our Overwatch Show The OWL’s Nest, but from my understanding, the Overwatch community being outraged over something isn’t anything new. The July 23rd patch did introduce some nerfs to Genji, who has been running wild over competitive Overwatch for the past month and change, and the community did seem excited about. But the good community giveth, and the mad community taketh away. Because once Moira’s massive overhauls to her Damage Orb and Fade were discovered, the “oofs’ came out.
