Can I make a sandwich BLIND? #DoItBlindChallenge #Support4Sight
10Today I attempt to make a sandwich while simultaneously aided and hindered by my housemate Nadia (who was also kind enough to record the whole thing). Also, I'm wearing a blindfold, but Nadia is the main obstacle here.
1 in 35 people will experience some form of sight loss / visual impairment in their lifetime. We want to bring this conversation to the public and challenge you all to take part in the challenge so you can appreciate what some people go through every day.
Sight loss is incredibly isolating and no two people go through the same journey. Support 4 Sight (S4S) work tirelessly to ensure those that have experienced sight loss receive the care and support that they need.
The rules for this challenge are simple.
1. Put on a blindfold - this can be anything, so long as you can't see.
2. Undertake a task - this can be any task - make it funny, make it fun. But most IMPORTANTLY make it safe. Ensure you have someone with you to assist you and keep you safe
3. Record! - record your task and upload to your social media
4. Tag - tag your friends and family and challenge them to do the same.
5. Donate - text "S4S 3" to 70085 to donate just £3.00 to the charity.
