Hello everyone! There has been a lot of controversy regarding the difficulty in Blackout Protocol, specially when playing solo, so it's time to give it a try. To be fair, I have played enough times to know most of the maps and I have a bunch of perma-upgrades too, so this would be a far different experience than the one from a new player playing solo, but even so I wanted to give it a try.

My conclusion is that overall it can be played really well in solo, if you play cautiously (which, again, is the way I feel the game has to be played) and don't rush forward with a shoot 'em up feeling. HOWEVER, making the boss with that amount of HP and a limited time to beat it is just an awful decision... Probably the worst I have seen so far in the game. They recently announced that there will be balancing and a solo mode, but I played this even before that announcement, so I really wish they reconsider the way this boss fight was made. A second phase would have been a way better idea than just make it a thing of time, because it completely destroys the tactical feeling that the game offers at the start.
