The game takes place in the year 2013 in the southern state of San Andreas, more precisely in the city of Los Santos and rural areas of Blaine County, and tells the stories of three protagonists: Michael De Santa, Franklin Clinton, and Trevor Philips — three uniquely-different criminals as they commit daring and profitable heists across the sprawling city of Los Santos.
