The Symbiotes don’t just bond with anything; they need to have certain criteria or pre -requisites for them to be able to bond with a host. Although for a limited amount of time, Symbiotes can attach themselves to anything solid and grow on or around it, such as grains of sand or water, despite the fact that genuine bonding requires something living, most commonly humans and other sentient beings. Symbiotes may begin small, but they can develop to match the size of any host, regardless of its size. When the host is ignorant or uninformed of a truly symbiotic relationship, it stimulates, provides for, and protects them on its own. Symbiotic organisms are dependent on human hosts because they may feed on adrenaline, which is necessary for their survival. So, the main requisites are sentience and the fact that the symbiote must feed off on adrenaline to sustain itself.
