Welcome to 𝐒𝐢𝐦 𝐔𝐊 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖𝐒 UNBOXING + ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Ti TUF 8GB OC 4K Test.

My driving sim rig was running a GTX 1660ti 3x1440p absolutely fine, but it could not capture video at the same time.

I decided to swap it for my GTX 1080ti and purchased this ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Ti TUF 8GB OC

Theoretically this ASUS TUFF RTX 3070ti should give me a slight performance boost in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 over my GTX 1080ti (along with other improvements).

The ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Ti TUF 8GB OC performed well IMHO. 4K Ultra was just below 30fps and TBH most of the issues seemed to be with a limitation of my CPU; i7 7700K not overclocked (I will overclock and try again soon).

At 2K the ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 Ti TUF 8GB OC manages 60fps easily at High-End, some tweaks to help my CPU might enable that to be pushed up top ultra (that is for another video).

More complex Aircraft might cost about another 10fps, but I hope to mitigate that with the OBS recording at 4K in the background.
