CHUXIE is a brand new Unreal Engine 5 horror game that...isn't very good! BUT what if we add full 6DOF VR and motion controls to it? Can we make it the best VR horror game of 2024 or at the very least the scariest new VR horror game?! No... No we can't but adding VR to this cheap Unreal Engine 5 horror game does make it A LOT of silly fun and I'd say I easily got my moneys worth thanks to the UEVR mod. These kind of low budget indie horror games release almost weekly and they're often a fantastic, low cost option for those wanting some new VR horror experiences or those who want to test out some Unreal Engine 5 VR possibilities, they won't break the bank (or blow your mind) but if you take the time to get them working properly with UEVR you'll probably have a lot of fun. CHUXIE is a weird new horror game where you're trying to make your way to (or through, I'm not sure) a hospital filled with ghosts, ghouls, lanky pink dudes, people in leotards and an alien made of lettuce... it's not a "good game" but it might be the most fun I've had in VR this week.
