GTA 5 VR WITH MOTION CONTROLS! // GTA VR Mod Gameplay
2,347GTA V VR...WITH MOTION CONTROLS?! What is this sorcery! Well, this is the GTA 5 VR mod that was built years ago to work with the HTC VIVE, it's called GTA VIVE and it's the wonkiest, jankiest VR mod I've potentially ever played. Now this GTA V VR mod was never built to work with the Quest 3 or newer VR headsets, it's a miracle that it works at all but ultimately somethings don't work as intend or don't look right. For instance on Quest you can't see the map or any of the HUD elements and sometimes the proportions of the guns look really wrong. As for movement the game relies almost entirely on teleport movement, it does have a sliding locomotion but it feels jarring and the only way to turn in by physically turning around... Basically it isn't great BUT it is pretty incredible that a VR GTA 5 mod even exists that contains motion controls, I just wish this had continued to grow and improve because it could be AMAZING by now. This Grand Theft Auto 5 VR mod could have been fantastic but in reality the best VR solution for GTA is still the Luke Ross R.E.A.L mod.
This GTA V VR gameplay was captured using the GTA VIVE VR mod, a 4090 VR ready PC and the Quest 3 connected via link cable, the mod might still be available in some dark corners of the internet but as far as I know it's been scrubbed from existence. However the Luke Ross GTA 5 VR mod is still available if you know where to look... cough Flat2VR cough
