Our goal is to hit 2500 RIO PUG only with a fresh 80 Guardian and Balance Druid in what we've decided to call The Mediocre Push, mirroring the much more impressive challenges faced in The Great Push by some of the best players in the world (of Warcraft).
The three day challenge will be posted in three separate videos, one for each day, starting with some basic gearing for fresh level 80 characters, followed by grinding +8 keys for Gilded crests and Hero track gear and culminating in the last day's grind of +10 keys in order to hit 2500 rating.
All of this was done without grouping with people we know, opting instead to take total strangers into our keys or joining their runs. Every single key that we attempted is shown throughout our three days. Resulting in 43 Mythic+ dungeon runs.
We spent roughly 250,000 gold on crafting, consumables and repairs for this challenge and 3 full days of our time to record, followed by another roughly 95 hours of editing to compile the most entertaining moments for your viewing pleasure.
