27In this video we discuss the New World MMO DPS mechanics that have been revealed since the preview event, and answer the question can you DPS in New World? After the New World Reekwater event, we learned about a targeting mechanic that has been added to New World healing, and different ways to generate threat in New World that has now created the role of the Tank in the game. This begs the question as to whether or not we can expect a full blown DPS build in New World. The game has a class less system, so a traditional New World DPS class is not in the game, but perks are being added to the critical damage system in New World that definitely push the game into the Holy Trinity system in MMO's.
