I know I tend to ramble but the riddle is as follows

There are four prisoners buried up to their necks. They're all aware that there is four of them each wear either a black or white hat. They know that of the four hats two are white and two are black.

The prisoners can only see what's in front of them and can't turn their heads. There are no mirrors and the wall can't be seen through.

The guard tells them that they have 15 minutes for one of them to shout out the colour of their own hat and that they can't say or communicate anything else.

If one person guesses correctly all prisoners will be freed.

If the guess wrong none of them will be freed

Can anyone be certain that they'll be right and if so who and why?
