Can you actually tell the difference between sport and eco mode in new cars? In the MK8 GTI Clubsport I aim to find out if Sport mode v eco mode is there actually a difference?
In this video I aim to test the differences between sport and eco mode in the MK8 GTI Clubsport. I did this by comparing the MK8 GTI sound in eco and in sport mode. I then tested the MK8 GTI Clubsport acceleration, speed and handling in eco and sport mode with a timed run on a nice section of road. Lastly I tested the MK8 GTI Clubsport mpg. I did with with two exactly the same eco runs one in sport and one in eco.
Is there actually a difference between sport and eco mode? do driving modes make a difference or are they just gimmicks? watch the MK8 GTI Clubsport be put through these tests to find out!!
