This is the Soviet campaign playthrough for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge with no commentary.
Playing on normal difficulty.
This is my all time most favourite RTS game, it was this game that got me into the RTS genre. While I did play the original Red Alert before this game, it was this game that was a big influence on me.
This game was a great mix of excellent fast gameplay with 2 unique factions(3 in Yuri's Revenge) with different units, interesting characters, live-action cut scenes that have a good storyline that is both serious and funny,a fun singleplayer campaign for both factions, great 2.5D graphics and the amazing electronic/industrial rock music.
While this may be my favourite RTS game, I do not claim to be a expert on this game, so I will not find all the secrets on each mission and may run into mistakes.
Game resolution has been set to 1920x1080p(so the video is quite zoomed out), but the video is rendered to 1280x720p. The in-game cut scenes/FMV that appears while in a mission has been manually edited/enlarged and its audio sync up for better viewing. The mouse cursor is bugged(wrong position) in the game menu screens, but was working fine in game, this is most likely a recorder bug because of the different in-game resolutions.
Cut-scenes and gameplay are set/edited to their original 4:3 resolution.
Unfortunately, the video has some screen tearing when the camera is panning, I had to use 'ddwrapper' (third party files) to get the game to render in directdraw, else recording wouldn't be possible, but ddwrapper fixes some graphic errors also.
