In 2017 a dream of a new ZX Spectrum computer was given form. The ZX Spectrum Next, made by enthusiasts of the original 8-bit machine created a Kickstarter campaign that ran in the shadow of other Spectrum related crowd funded projects that had not gone so well. The team behing the ZX Spectrum Next was undeterred, and delivered a new computer as promised.
