Ernesto Pacheco is Director of Visualization at CannonDesign. A key responsibility of Ernesto’s team is R&D into digital technologies for the firm’s design practice.
They’ve been using Unreal Engine since 2015, initially adopting the real-time tool to achieve more interesting ways to tell their design stories.
When they heard about fast archviz tool Twinmotion, Ernesto ‘s team were drawn to the quick and easy nature of the software, seeing its potential as a one-step solution for the firm’s designers. They wanted to expedite animation processes at the company and have smaller teams working on these tasks.
CannonDesign put Twinmotion to the test on a large-scale project for the redevelopment of Mercy Hospital that was over 300,000 square feet and included both interior and exterior scenes, alongside landscaping shots. Watch this video and find out how the team improved communication by leveraging features like Twinmotion Cloud to take the client through the project as it progressed.
