Canola Crop Collection, Straw Baling and Bale Conveyance | Italian Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse #73
251Welcome back to the Italian Farm Timelapse. Let's begin by tending to our cattle and preparing their nourishment. We mix a blend of silage, hay, mineral supplements, and straw in a mixer. Once our preparations are complete, we hop into a pickup truck and make our way to the NEW HOLLAND CR10.9 combine, surrounded by a fleet of vehicles, stationed near the canola field. This signals the start of our harvesting process. The yield we gather is then transported to our processing facility, where it will be transformed into valuable vegetable oil.
After safely parking the harvester, our attention turns to collecting the straw. We outfit a NEW HOLLAND T8 GENESIS tractor with a KUHN SB1290 ID baler and a front rake. Additionally, we attach an ANDERSON GROUP STACKPRO 7200 bale handler to a NEW HOLLAND T7-310 tractor.
This setup allows us to efficiently form straw bales, which we store along the field's periphery. The same procedure is replicated in another field. These meticulously formed bales are subsequently transported to our straw pellet production site. Here, we ensure the bales are crush before being loaded. The final batch of bales finds its place near the cowshed, completing our task.
