Sale of logs in containers, making a new grass field | Silverrun Forest | FS 22 | Timelapse #52
279Welcome back to the Silverrun Forest Farm Timelapse. Let's start by selling the logs we gathered yesterday. To achieve this, we will purchase two containers and transport them to the loading area. Next, utilizing the VOLVO L200H loader, we will load the logs into the containers and transport them to the sales location located at the railway junction.
Once the logs have been successfully sold, we will initiate the next phase of work, focusing on the final preparation of the field at this site. Our initial steps will involve removing any obstructive vegetation and breaking down large boulders. The resulting gravel will also be collected. Once the area is cleared, we will connect the subsoiler and stump grinder to the JOHN DEERE 8RX Series tractor, enabling us to commence the initial plowing of the field.
Subsequently, we will establish the field boundaries and proceed with plowing the soil, while simultaneously grinding any remaining stumps and branches. Following the plowing process, we will apply lime to the soil and proceed to sow grass seeds.
