Can’t drag and drop files or folders in Windows 10
Commands Used:
sfc /scannow
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
The Drag and Drop feature in Windows OS is used to move or copy files or folders from one location to another. If for some reason, it stops working, then performing some of the primary functions becomes difficult. If you are not able to drag and drop files or folders in Windows 10, then here is what you need to do to fix the problem.
This issue can occur in Windows 10 as well as in Windows 11, and we stumbled upon it when running virtual machines in VMware Workstation Player and VirtualBox. Unfortunately, we don’t know what’s causing this problem, and we did not find any documentation from Microsoft explaining things clearly.
