A quick fix for Davinci Resolve 16 if you can't drag any media to your timeline.

00:00 Showcasing the problem.
00:17 Position Lock is On.
01:03 Your track is locked.
01:44 Your timeline is corrupted.

+ Your handles, for example V1 is deselected from the track.

+ Your media is unsupported. Convert it to something else. Make sure your file is supported by Davinci. If you're unsure what kind of file it is, download Handbrake and check what codec it uses, then check Davinci's site for supported formats.

+ Reboot, this has helped me once.
