Capcom Fighting Evolution on PCSX2 - Arcade Mode with M. Bison/Jedah
Yes, I know 'Capcom Fighting Evolution' (or 'Capcom Fighting Jam', as it's known in some areas) isn't a great fighting game overall, but in retrospect, this arcade/console title from 2004 is a rather important footnote in Capcom's fighting game history. It actually started out as a 3D crossover fighting game called 'Capcom Fighting All-Stars', which never got released due to complications regarding development and player feedback during beta tests (among other things). Additionally, 'Capcom Fighting All-Stars' was supposed to feature several original characters, one of whom would be Ingrid. (She would not only make her playable debut in 'Capcom Fighting Evolution', but furthermore would make subsequent appearances in the 2006 PSP fighting game 'Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX' and the 2015 3DS tactical JRPG 'Project X Zone 2', to name a few.)
So yeah, there were some legitimately good things that came out of this game (such as the amazing character artwork by the legendary Toshiaki Mori, AKA Shinkiro, and possibly Ingrid, depending on your taste in all-powerful magical girl designs), but overall, 'Capcom Fighting Evolution' could've been so much more if you ask me. After all, if M.U.G.E.N of all things can make a better crossover fighting game than this hodgepodge of character sprites and game mechanics...
