On 27th August 2024 Capcom Announced Capcom Fighting Collection 2, eight classic fighting games that haven't been ported to home hardware in over 20 years.

But behind the scenes, something Sega related seems to be developing. Since 7 of the 8 games were originally made for MAOMI Arcade hardware, the same hardware that made up the innards of the Sega Dreamcast, could this lead to more new and exciting Dreamcast developments?
