News Net is an in-browser offline news reader which will scrape supplied URLs for relevant content and allow for offline reading.

This application features a separate chrome extension which will take the current page and save the URL to your personal account. Additionally, if visiting the application from a mobile Chrome browser you will have the opportunity to 'Add to Homescreen' which will allow you to visit the application even if offline. You can engage with a community of users by sharing stories to public subscriptions, or adding to private folders. From there you can add to a discussion on a particular story. Additional features also include Google OAUTH, and a mobile first responsive design built using Angular Material.
