Capstone Project: BYODB
BYODB lets non-technical users build, maintain, and query databases through an intuitive GUI. Interacting with a database can be frustrating for non-technical users, BYODB aims to make database management accessible for all.
BYODB, requires a minimal setup process and no installation; all you need is an internet connection. On the web app, users can create multiple databases, create tables within those databases, and store information of various types within those tables. If you have a used a spreadsheet before, you can use BYODB.
While the user-experience has been made simple, the backend involves a complex series of SQL queries, associations, and methods. This allows users to enjoy the flexibility and power of databases while avoiding their complexity.
