Seeing as how the latest Captain America movie hits theatres next week, I thought that it would be fitting to dedicate an NES Captain America and the Avengers speed run to it.

But here's the catch, since Cap is all busy with Hollywood these days, Hawkeye opted to take his place and give him a much needed break (Avengers Diassemble!).

However, Captain America still makes a special cameo appearance during the Houston level, as there is an Exit ball that only he can reach, unfortunately (damn you steroids!).

While Hawkeye is the weaker character overall (make sure to power him up to the max from the start, as I did during this run, otherwise he will basically be useless), he does possess greater shooting range which allows him to pick up items and deal with certain bosses with greater ease.

Make sure to power up Hawkeye to the max from the start, as I did during this run, otherwise he will basically be useless. Be warned, the first ten or so minutes are pretty boring because of this.
