Captain Commando - Part 1: Sickening Truths - MCIHAD
In the latest outing from Trouble Planet, the so-called grown men who curate this forgotten disaster high five each other over prurient ribald, stealthy travel allusions, and wanton celebration of unfettered privilege, all while insipid cultural artifacts splash across the screen in a desultory and oversaturated burlesque called Captain Commando. (Thoughtfully requested by Korey the Animator! Thanks brah!) The overworld map of the nonsensical fictional city peopled with zombies and mechanized infants puts the gang in mind of Portland, Oregon, home of fine enormous bookstores and well-maintained light rail systems. Keith drops some archaeological terms on us; hopefully none of you will have to spend another day of your lives without knowing what a Dunkleosteus is. That is followed up by the savory fun fact (courtesy of Kyle) that the male urethra is apparently rifled. Buuuuut considering the source I’d go ahead and take that statement with the biggest rock of salt you can find! Tune in tomorrow for more.

Captain Commando is a 1991 arcade beat 'em up science fiction game developed and published by Capcom. The game stars Capcom's original mascot of the same name and his three members of the "Commando Team". Captain Commando is Capcom's own homage to classic American sci-fi comics, shows and magazines, as well as the work of artists like Frank R. Paul. It was not their only game though; Battle Circuit is another example of enthusiasm for the genre. Captain Commando is also included in Classics Collection Vol. 2 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
It is the year 2026. The world is filled with crime. Captain Commando and his three faithful Commando companions rise up to erase this crime from Planet Earth and from all the Galaxy. But the futuristic criminals they have to fight are endowed with a secret, hidden, evil power. Many of them are Super Criminals, with abilities beyond that of ordinary mortals. The leader of all Super Criminals is Scumocide (known as Genocide in Japan).
