CAPTAIN DYNAMO - 128K (ZX SPECTRUM - FULL GAME)
Zeus presents Captain Dynamo (un-emulated) for the zx spectrum, a true classic from the golden era of spectrum gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1992
After seeing the Amstrad 8-bit version of this on fellow youtuber's channel (ALEX76GR), I just had to produce a longplay of the Spectrum 128k version.
Coming surprisingly late for an 8-bit game...1992, you can see that much effort went into this game,...well they had to really as it was in the middle of the 16-bit era and the 8-bit's were pretty much in their graves by then.
The game kicks off with a vocalized 3-2-1, then it's straight into the action.
Guide Dynamo up 6 levels collecting as many diamonds as possible, jumping from platform to platform avoiding baddies which can be killed if you jump on top of them, avoiding long pushy things whilst trying to get to the top of the level where the warp transporter awaits you to the next level.
Very colourful graphics with no colour clash and great 128k AY music, sadly it's the same tune for every level so it might get a little boring after a while.
Also I feel that for a 1992 game (even if it is 8-bit), there should've been an end equence, sadly it just rolls back round to level 1.
I have used the invincibility poke so I could upload the entire game for your viewing pleasure.
Hope all you Spectrum fans enjoy this upload.
Please note: NONE of my game uploads are emulated in any way whatsoever, they are 100% original recordings by myself taken directly from the original hardware the game was intended for, that way you know you're watching the real thing.
I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any.
