Hi everyone! In today’s video we’ll paint a beautiful natural landscape with some animals, and with lovely misty weather.
This process taught me personally many new things, as I made quite a few mistakes.
Here’s the gist of it:
- Always be aware of the paper’s angle, and how it affects the flow
- CLEAR plan - get the pattern of highlights in the correct places!
- Paper-white is almost always preferable to using opaque paint
- Be very careful with wet-in-wet over an existing wash
- Don’t be lazy - go as dark as necessary
