In this review, we'll take a look at a free car showroom app called Car 3D Configurator that was designed in order to demonstrate ARcore technology but it's one of the more impressive augmented reality car showroom implementations that I've seen to date when it comes to visuals and customization options.

Note: there is an option for standard 3D viewing, I've reviewed the augmented reality mode of the app.

In this app, you can customize a Porsche 718 Boxter S with Car 3D Configuration, but keep in mind that this is not an official app by Porsche company. It was developed by a 3rd party to showcase ARCore capabilities as an ultimate sales tool for the automotive industry.
