Sonic Adventure 2 was created by Sonic Team and Sega of America in 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast and later rereleased as Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the Nintendo Gamecube, Playstation 3, and PC. Sonic Adventure 2, like it's predecessor, is an action platformer where you can take control of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Dr. Robotnik, and newcomers Shadow and Rouge. Sonic and Shadow have high speed platforming section, Tails and Eggman have shooter-platformer sections and Knuckles and Rouge have exploration-scavenger hunt section. This brilliant combination of gameplay creates one of the best if not the best 3D Sonic game ever created.
